The ideal cast for a fandom-popular media source is usually a pair of characters with an intense, dynamic relationship.   Romantic subtext and “shipping” are obviously a big part of why people are drawn to certain Fandoms which is why there are hundreds of lesbian 'canon' fan fiction stories and videos made about Piper & Alex (Orange Is the New Black) and Callie & Arizona (Grey's Anatomy) among others. Still, there is nothing more tempting to a fanfic writer or a videographer than extrapolating on canonical relationships. 'Non canon' fan fiction and videos focusses on characters who are not actually 'together'.  Non canon couples include Jane & Maura (Rizzoli & Isles) and SwanQueen (Once Upon A Time) among many others. We at Curve Magazine want to build a home base for this fan fiction and videos so we are very excited to introduce Stefani Spencer who will curate and post the best fan made videos out there.  The list will continue to grow but  do let us know if we've missed your favourite so we can add some videos to the list.  Enjoy!
